Ho'olu komo la kaua  (Please join us) for the 135th Annual Convention & Trade Show at the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort June 12 - 15, 2016.

As always, this is your chance to connect with friends and colleagues, share your insight and ideas about moving pharmacy forward, see new pharmacy products and services, attend top-notch CPE programs, and of course, squeeze in a little R&R on the Emerald Coast!

 

This year we’re planning a luau-themed bash so “Aloha” shirts and leis are definitely welcome! Convention activities will take place at the Baytowne Conference Center which is adjacent to the Grand Sandestin and a stone’s throw from The Village of Baytowne Wharf. 

The Village offers unique dining, shopping and entertainment options. APA has secured reduced room rates on a variety of different rooming options at Sandestin – both beachside and bayside.

A deposit of one night's room rate is required to secure rooms.  All room rates quoted above DO NOT include 12% fees and 11% taxes.  Deposit is refundable in the event of individual room cancellation, provided notice is received by Sandestin seven days prior to scheduled arrival date.  Rooms will be made available three days prior and three days post event on a space-available basis.

* A minimum stay of 4 nights is required in Luau accommodations.
The Grand Complex consists of accommodations in the Grand Sandestin, Lasata, Bahia and Elation.

CPE Credit
In order to receive credit for this program you must provide APA with your NABP e-Profile ID as well as the month and day of your date of birth.  In addition, you must sign-in at the beginning of the program and complete an evaluation form at the conclusion of the program.  No exceptions.  No partial credit will be given for the CPE programs so it is important that you arrive on time.  Your credit will be uploaded to CPE Monitor within four weeks of the program. You must provide APA with all required information within 60 days of the program to receive credit.  APA cannot award CE credit after 60 days.

This program is sponsored by the Alabama Pharmacy Association Research and Education Foundation (APAREF).  The APAREF is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.


Convention Registration Cancellation Policy 
All Annual Convention cancellations must be sent to APA in writing.  Cancellations received by 4 p.m. on May 27, 2016 will be assessed a $25 administrative fee.  Cancellations made after May 27, 2016, no shows, or changes made onsite to registration will not be refunded.  Refunds will not be given for inclement weather.

Student Sponsorships
APA appreciates your support in helping to offset student convention expenses.  Donations will be used to provide free hotel accommodations for APA student members.  Donations in any amount are appreciated.  If you register online, the student sponsorships are listed in the section with the additional tickets.  Please contact the APA office if don't see the amount listed that you'd like to donate and we'd be happy to help! 

 

Annual Golf Affair
Don't miss the excitement of APA's annual golf tournament.  This is a great opportunity to catch up with friends, win prizes, and enjoy a great round of golf on the Baytowne Course at the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort.  The tournament fee is $105 per player and includes green fee, shared cart, range balls and one drink ticket.  A box lunch may be purchased separately for $11.00 and includes either a ham/cheese or a turkey/cheese sandwich, chips and a fountain drink.  Mulligans will be available for purchase at the tournament.  Click here to register for this year's golf tournament.  This year's golf registration is separate from the online convention registration.
