Regional Meetings provide pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, student pharmacists and those interested in the profession an opportunity to gather and discuss state and national issues and earn continuing education credit.

Join us for the 2017 APA Regional Meeting in Mobile on Monday, September 25th! 

Every year, APA conducts regional meetings, formerly known as district meetings, between September and November. Regional Meetings provide pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, student pharmacists and those interested in the profession an opportunity to gather and discuss state and national issues and earn continuing education credit. 

The 2017 topics are Current Issues in Alabama Pharmacy and Make Yourself Indispensable.  The continuing education program is open to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. Two hours of general CPE credit will be available. Click to view CPE details. 

Registration Note:  Due to limited space, pre-registration is requested.  Onsite registration is not guaranteed and will be accepted as space and food allows.  Early-bird pricing ends September 21.  An additional $5.00 will be added for registration or payment after September 21, 2017.

CPE Credit:In order to receive credit for the programs you must provide APA with your NABP e-Profile ID as well as the month and day of your date of birth.  In addition, you must sign-in at the beginning of the program and complete an evaluation form at the end of the program.  No exceptions.  No partial credit will be given for the CPE programs so it is important that you arrive on time.

Your credit will be uploaded to CPE Monitor within four weeks of the program.  You must provide APA with all required information within 60 days of the program to receive credit.  APA cannot award CE credit after 60 days.

Refunds: If you are unable to attend the program, refunds will be made through September 18, 2017.  APA requires a written request for the refund.  No refunds will be made after September 18, 2017.  Refunds will not be given for inclement weather.

Directions to Byrne Memorial Hall:
Enter from Old Shell Road Guard Shack.
Continue straight on E. Portier Lane.
Take first parking lot on the right.
Byrne-Memorial Hall is the building that was previously the library.
