You've heard about the Chicago Tribune's investigative report in which 255 pharmacies were tested to see how often they would dispense dangerous drug pairs without warning patients. In the investigation, 52 percent of the pharmacies sold the medications without mentioning the potential interaction.
We know patient safety is your first concern which is why APA has developed a webinar to discuss best practices in preventing medication errors. This will be an ACPE-accredited 60-minute program open to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
