In publication since 1965, the Alabama Pharmacy journal covers a variety of topics geared toward our members. Each issue includes two-three feature articles and four regular sections. From the "News You Can Use" section which covers news topics that are helpful to pharmacy professionals and current issues that are related to the practice of pharmacy to "Member News", which covers the latest recaps of APA recent and upcoming events, and keeps members updated on their colleagues by recognizing member promotions, awards, and honors in the industry as well as personal items such as wedding and birth announcements. Members enjoy learning more about each other through the member profiles and testimonials published in each issue. Other sections include "Campus News" which covers the latest news from both Auburn University Harrison School of Pharmacy and Samford University McWhorter School of Pharmacy and "Continuing Education" where readers can find the latest CPE!
Submitting News and Articles:
The APA journal Alabama Pharmacy is published quarterly by the Alabama Pharmacy Association as a membership service. Alabama Pharmacy mails four times annually at the first of the months of March, June, September and December. Members are invited to submit articles for review by the editorial staff. If you would like to submit editorial pieces to the journal, please email apa@aparx.org.
